1 Chronicles

Chapter 28

1 AND David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes and the commanders of the divisions that ministered to the king and the commanders of the thousands and the captains of hundreds and the stewards of all the substance and herds of the king and of his sons, with the officers and with the mighty men of valour; and they all came to Jerusalem.

2 Then he said to them, Hear me, my brethren and my people: I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD and for a dwelling place of our God, and I had made ready everything for the building of the house;

3 But the LORD said to me, You shall not build a house for my name because you are a man of war and have shed much blood.

4 However the LORD God of Israel chose me from all my father's house to be king over Israel for ever; for he has chosen out of the house of Judah to be the king; and of the tribe of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he chose me to be king over Israel;

5 And of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

6 And he said to me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be a father to him.

7 Moreover I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever if he continues to keep my commandments and my judgments as at this day.

8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the people of the LORD and in the presence of the LORD our God, keep and seek for all his commandments; and you shall, possess this land for ever and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever, and it shall not be destroyed.

9 And you, Solomon my son, know everything that the LORD our God has commanded us, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD knows everything that is in the heart and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts of men; if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.

10 Know now and take heed; for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary of the name of the LORD; be strong, be valiant, and do it.

11 Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch and the measurements of the house and of its treasuries and of the upper chambers thereof and of the inner porticos thereof and of the outer porticos thereof and of the upper porticos thereof and of the lower porticos thereof;

12 And the pattern of the treasury and of the chambers for the service of the house of the LORD and the chambers of the cooks and the chambers of the butlers and the chamber of those in charge of the lamps:

13 Also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.

14 He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all vessels of all manner of service: silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every, kind of service;

15 And the place for the candlestick of gold and for their lamps of gold and the wicks thereof and the ornaments thereof and the vessels of oil thereof. David recorded everything, and gave it to Solomon his son;

16 And tables of silver and tables of gold; dishes of silver and dishes of gold;

17 Also large spoons, flesh hooks, and bowls of silver; the gold of these vessels could not be weighed;

18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

20 Then David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it; fear not, nor be dismayed; for the LORD God is with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

21 And, behold, the divisions of the priests and of the Levites, I have given them authority over all the service of the house of the LORD; and they are with you, and shall be in charge of all the service; and they will do the work with skill, all the workmanship which is necessary for the service of the house of the LORD. And, behold, I have appointed over them authorities and overseers, so that they may seek and render all manner of service which is necessary.

Глава 28

1 И собрал Давид в Иерусалим всех начальствовавших у Израиля, начальников племен, и начальников черед, служивших царю, и тысяченачальников и сотников, и начальствовавших над всем имением и стадами царя и сыновей его, также евнухов, и мужей воинственных, и всякого отличившегося доблестью.

2 И стал царь Давид на ноги свои, и сказал: послушайте меня, братия мои, и народ мой: было у меня на сердце построить дом покоя для ковчега завета Господа, и в подножие ногам Бога нашего, и приготовился строить.

3 Но Бог сказал мне: не строй дома во имя Мое, потому что ты человек воинственный и проливал кровь.

4 Однакож Господь, Бог Израилев, из всего дома отца моего избрал меня, чтоб я был царем над Израилем вечно. Он избрал Иуду верховным правителем, а в доме Иуды дом отца моего, а из сыновей отца моего меня благоволил поставить царем над всем Израилем.

5 А из всех сыновей моих (поелику Господь дал мне много сыновей) избрал сына моего Соломона сидеть на престоле царства Господа, над Израилем.

6 И сказал мне: сын твой Соломон построит дом Мой и дворы Мои, потому что Я избрал его Себе в сына, и Я буду ему Отцем.

7 И поставлю царство его навек, если он будет тверд в исполнении заповедей Моих и уставов Моих так, как до сего дня.

8 И теперь пред очами всего Израиля, пред собранием Господа и во уши Бога нашего говорю: храните и содержите в памяти все заповеди Господа, Бога вашего, чтобы владеть вам сею доброю землею и оставить после себя в наследство детям своим навек.

9 И ты, Соломон, сын мой, знай Бога отца твоего, и служи Ему от полного сердца и доброхотною душею, поелику Господь испытует все сердца и всякий образ мыслей. Если будешь искать Его, найдешь Его; а если оставишь Его, Он отринет тебя навсегда.

10 Итак смотри: поелику Господь избрал тебя построить дом для святилища, будь тверд, и действуй.

11 И отдал Давид Соломону, сыну своему, предначертание притвора и домов его, и кладовых его, и горниц его, и внутренних покоев его, и дома для ковчега;

12 И предначертание всего, что было в духе его, дворов дома Господа, и всех покоев кругом сокровищниц дома Божия, и сокровищниц священных вещей,

13 И священнических и левитских черед, и всякого дела служебного в доме Господа и всех сосудов, требуемых для дома Господа, -

14 Золота с означением веса на все золотое, на всякие сосуды для разных потреб, всяких серебряных вещей, с указанием веса на всякие сосуды для разных потреб,

15 Веса золотых светильников и их золотых лампад, с означением веса каждого светильника и лампад его; также светильников серебряных, с означением веса светильника и лампад его, смотря по употреблению каждого светильника;

16 Веса золота для столов с хлебами предложения, для каждого золотого стола и серебра для столов серебряных;

17 И вилок, и мис, и чаш из чистого золота, и золотых блюд, с означением веса каждого блюда, и серебряных блюд, с означением веса каждого блюда;

18 И жертвенника курения из переплавленного золота с означением веса, и устройства колесницы с золотыми херувимами, распростирающими крылья и покрывающими ковчег завета Господа.

19 Все сие, говорил Давид, я отдаю на письме, составленном под рукою Господа. Он вразумил меня на все работы, означенные в сем предначертании.

20 И сказал Давид сыну своему Соломону: будь тверд и мужествен и действуй, не бойся и не ужасайся, поелику Господь Бог, Бог мой, с тобою, не отступит от тебя, и не оставит тебя, доколе не совершишь всего дела, требуемого для дома Господа.

21 И вот череды священников и левитов поставлены для всякой службы при доме Божием; и есть у тебя всякие усердные люди на всякое дело, имеющие искусство для всякой работы, и начальники, и весь народ готовы на все твои приказания.

1 AND David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes and the commanders of the divisions that ministered to the king and the commanders of the thousands and the captains of hundreds and the stewards of all the substance and herds of the king and of his sons, with the officers and with the mighty men of valour; and they all came to Jerusalem.

1 И собрал Давид в Иерусалим всех начальствовавших у Израиля, начальников племен, и начальников черед, служивших царю, и тысяченачальников и сотников, и начальствовавших над всем имением и стадами царя и сыновей его, также евнухов, и мужей воинственных, и всякого отличившегося доблестью.

2 Then he said to them, Hear me, my brethren and my people: I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD and for a dwelling place of our God, and I had made ready everything for the building of the house;

2 И стал царь Давид на ноги свои, и сказал: послушайте меня, братия мои, и народ мой: было у меня на сердце построить дом покоя для ковчега завета Господа, и в подножие ногам Бога нашего, и приготовился строить.

3 But the LORD said to me, You shall not build a house for my name because you are a man of war and have shed much blood.

3 Но Бог сказал мне: не строй дома во имя Мое, потому что ты человек воинственный и проливал кровь.

4 However the LORD God of Israel chose me from all my father's house to be king over Israel for ever; for he has chosen out of the house of Judah to be the king; and of the tribe of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he chose me to be king over Israel;

4 Однакож Господь, Бог Израилев, из всего дома отца моего избрал меня, чтоб я был царем над Израилем вечно. Он избрал Иуду верховным правителем, а в доме Иуды дом отца моего, а из сыновей отца моего меня благоволил поставить царем над всем Израилем.

5 And of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

5 А из всех сыновей моих (поелику Господь дал мне много сыновей) избрал сына моего Соломона сидеть на престоле царства Господа, над Израилем.

6 And he said to me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be a father to him.

6 И сказал мне: сын твой Соломон построит дом Мой и дворы Мои, потому что Я избрал его Себе в сына, и Я буду ему Отцем.

7 Moreover I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever if he continues to keep my commandments and my judgments as at this day.

7 И поставлю царство его навек, если он будет тверд в исполнении заповедей Моих и уставов Моих так, как до сего дня.

8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the people of the LORD and in the presence of the LORD our God, keep and seek for all his commandments; and you shall, possess this land for ever and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever, and it shall not be destroyed.

8 И теперь пред очами всего Израиля, пред собранием Господа и во уши Бога нашего говорю: храните и содержите в памяти все заповеди Господа, Бога вашего, чтобы владеть вам сею доброю землею и оставить после себя в наследство детям своим навек.

9 And you, Solomon my son, know everything that the LORD our God has commanded us, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD knows everything that is in the heart and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts of men; if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.

9 И ты, Соломон, сын мой, знай Бога отца твоего, и служи Ему от полного сердца и доброхотною душею, поелику Господь испытует все сердца и всякий образ мыслей. Если будешь искать Его, найдешь Его; а если оставишь Его, Он отринет тебя навсегда.

10 Know now and take heed; for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary of the name of the LORD; be strong, be valiant, and do it.

10 Итак смотри: поелику Господь избрал тебя построить дом для святилища, будь тверд, и действуй.

11 Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch and the measurements of the house and of its treasuries and of the upper chambers thereof and of the inner porticos thereof and of the outer porticos thereof and of the upper porticos thereof and of the lower porticos thereof;

11 И отдал Давид Соломону, сыну своему, предначертание притвора и домов его, и кладовых его, и горниц его, и внутренних покоев его, и дома для ковчега;

12 And the pattern of the treasury and of the chambers for the service of the house of the LORD and the chambers of the cooks and the chambers of the butlers and the chamber of those in charge of the lamps:

12 И предначертание всего, что было в духе его, дворов дома Господа, и всех покоев кругом сокровищниц дома Божия, и сокровищниц священных вещей,

13 Also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.

13 И священнических и левитских черед, и всякого дела служебного в доме Господа и всех сосудов, требуемых для дома Господа, -

14 He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all vessels of all manner of service: silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every, kind of service;

14 Золота с означением веса на все золотое, на всякие сосуды для разных потреб, всяких серебряных вещей, с указанием веса на всякие сосуды для разных потреб,

15 And the place for the candlestick of gold and for their lamps of gold and the wicks thereof and the ornaments thereof and the vessels of oil thereof. David recorded everything, and gave it to Solomon his son;

15 Веса золотых светильников и их золотых лампад, с означением веса каждого светильника и лампад его; также светильников серебряных, с означением веса светильника и лампад его, смотря по употреблению каждого светильника;

16 And tables of silver and tables of gold; dishes of silver and dishes of gold;

16 Веса золота для столов с хлебами предложения, для каждого золотого стола и серебра для столов серебряных;

17 Also large spoons, flesh hooks, and bowls of silver; the gold of these vessels could not be weighed;

17 И вилок, и мис, и чаш из чистого золота, и золотых блюд, с означением веса каждого блюда, и серебряных блюд, с означением веса каждого блюда;

18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

18 И жертвенника курения из переплавленного золота с означением веса, и устройства колесницы с золотыми херувимами, распростирающими крылья и покрывающими ковчег завета Господа.

19 Все сие, говорил Давид, я отдаю на письме, составленном под рукою Господа. Он вразумил меня на все работы, означенные в сем предначертании.
